Not your Typical Rice Cooker - Steams VERY WELL.
Do you know how hard it is to find this rice cooker. Looked everywhere in Los Angeles and over 100 different rice cookers in over 12 stores with NO luck. AMAZON your are the best - should have saved gas and ordered on line. Delivery in less than 2 days.
98% of all rice cookers out there just cook rice. This is an OLD STYLE (Taiwanese?) rice cooker that cooks rice well AND steams anything. It has an inner removable metal pot that you place rice and water in (usually 1:2 or 1:3 depending on how moist you like your rice). Then you put 1/2 cup or more water in the outer heated cooking pot and then place the inner pot with rice/water in the cooker lined with water. Push the button and Voila, rice is cooked. If you want the rice to keep warm after cooking, just flip the front button to ON.
What is GREAT about this cooker vs all others is that it steams anything you fit in the pot perfectly. Just add water and the included stainless steel inner removable riser...
Tatung Rice Cooker
We have the similar rice cooker for more than 25 years. The current cooker reaches its end-of-life-cycle. I ordered a functionally similar one and the product was delivered on the promised arrival date.
The cooker works like a charm (as our old one which has provided many years of services and wonderful memory). We have no problem whats so ever. Some parts from our older cooker can be used on the new one.

It's pretty standard as far as using it, but far from standard in the results. The combination of the rice absorbing water and being steamed at the same time produces a fluffy, light rice. The stainless steel bowl means that the lining won't wear off over time -- which is why I bought this cooker: to replace one whose "non-stick" lining had worn off. Definitely worth the price.
