Great Northern Popcorn Original Spinner Stovetop 6-1/2-Quart Popcorn Popper

A word of warning.
This popper does what its' meant to do. I have yet to experience zero un-popped kernels, but it comes close. The one thing that threw me off is how thin this thing is- extremely cheap materials. Any thinner and it would qualify as tinfoil. It's so thin the bottom dented when accidentally set on the stove top too hard- wasn't a big deal because my finger did a fine job of pushing the dent back out (yes, it's that thin!). The light build along with plastic gears lead me to believe me that the popper isn't going to last very long. Spend the extra $20-30 and get the Lindy's popper.

Great Item and Value... Highly Recommended
Great popcorn maker. No unpopped kernels. Quick to make popcorns. Others are selling at almost double the price for the same design and working. I followed the instructions from other reviews to put the flame/heat on medium so as not to burn out the plastic gears. Made popcorns in under 3 minutes. Only takes about a minute to make when it is hot. Would highly recommend. It's very, very light so really easy to move around. My wife hates microewave popcorn but she loves these with some, real butter. Try using your own spices and recipies as you can put the ingredients directly with the corn. So you can make sweet, spicy whatever you feel like.

Best tasting homemade popcorn
Fairly simple.
1. Open a Great Northern Popcorn, 4-Ounce Portion Pack (I purchased 24 packs when I purchased the spinner).
2. Put the whole thing (1 part popcorn, 1 part buttered oil, 1 part seasoning) into the spinner.
3. Turn on stove and spin.
4. When the popcorn stops popping, pour the whole thing into a rather large bowl.
The popcorn comes out perfectly seasoned with only around 1% unpopped. Life's too short to eat tasteless, air popped popcorn. The Great Northern Popcorn spinner, combined with their popcorn packs, makes THE BEST tasting popcorn that you can make at home. Period.
