Conair Garment Steamer, White

This unit could have more steam output. Easy to move and use.Size is also just right and easy to store.

NOT BAD BUT COULD BE IMPROVED.
We purchased the steamer primarily to use for getting wrinkles out of window drapes. The drapes are about 8 feet in length. The steam did a reasonably good job of removing the wrinkles and the steam didn't seem to harm the fabric.

On the negative side, the hose could be longer. I couldn't set the steamer on the floor and reach the top of the drapes. Instead, the base had to be lifted, which is both dangerous and inconvenient.

The steamer nozzle often drips water when it is held below the hose. That is, there is no dripping when the nozzle is the highest part of the hose. If the nozzle is held lower than the hose, as it might be while steaming the bottom part of the drapes, then drops of water might drip from the nozzle. This didn't always happen but it happens enough to be a concern.

So, it's a good device but it could be better.

Note that we've only used it for drapes. I can't comment on how it might perform for other tasks, such as...
