Not the Maytag Repairman but...
With some help from youtube video's, and the fact that I am mechanically inclined.
I ordered this Part, remove the covers off my LG Washer, and fixed it myself.
The cost for someone to come out to my home and do this would have been about $200 to $300, so I saved a bundle.
Plus while I had it apart, I went ahead and ordered the other pump that could go bad. So I have both pumps as spares for next time. The whole process just required a philips #2 screwdriver.
worked great. easy DIY fix for washer
Easy to install using youtube diy videos. Had the entire repair done in under an hour. Washer works like a charm. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
LG WM2050C
My sweet husband is a Mr Fix everything. Found a great video on YouTube on how to disassemble/reassemble. The pump was an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part. Sears wanted over double the price for an aftermarket equivalent, plus an outrageous shipping charge. I look for everything on AMAZON first and as usual I was not disappointed. THANK YOU QuickShipParts & AMAZON
