GE WB21X5301 Stove, Oven, Range Sensor

Oven probe
Exact replacement for my GE oven, the oven would only heat to 250 although it would register 350 or whatever we set it at, but after a couple of days of food not cooking thoroughly I realized we had a temp problem. I bought a high heat oven thermometer to confirm the problem, then ordered this probe and problem fixed. Now the high heat thermometer and oven probe are within a couple of degrees of each other.

Oven Sensor fixes problem
The infamous F2 error code on my GE oven (1993 vintage) gave me fits for a year or more until I finally did the research and bought a GE WB21x5301 Oven Sensor, a 6 inch rod with a thermocouple inside that senses and reports temperature excesses. It was erroneously reporting temperture excess and shutting down my oven in the middle of a pizza bake or roast. I found the part number on a Sears parts website but didn't like the $80 price tag. I used the part number to find the part on Amazon for less than $45. Installation for my model required that I pull the oven out and take part of the back off to get to the wire nuts that wouldn't go through the hole in front of back of oven. This part came with a quick-connect plug, which I had to cut off and strip the wires to accept the wire nuts. There is no polarity so it didn't matter which way I connected it. Bottom line is the oven works fine, no F2s and wife is happy. She baked a killer bananna bread today. Amazon has always come...

GE WB21X5301 Stove , Oven Range sensor
This is a good , less expensive replacement for the more expensive sensors. On my stove I had to modify the tip slightly. But if you know what a sensor is , in the first place, it should be really easy to install. Not to mention not having to pay a $200 repair bill

Fagor 12 Quart Halogen Tabletop Oven

Cooks great. Handle is weak. Breaks easily
I am rating this 3 stars because it cooks very well, crisps the outside of foods and cooks fast. BUT, it doesn't get 5 stars because the attachment of the top handle just isn't robust enough and it is likely to break. The lid is heavy. With my first one of these, the handle attachment to the lid broke on the second day. When I got it fixed, the other side of the handle attachment broke a few days later. I consider it to be a design flaw. The handle itself is a bit weak and it attaches to the lid with 2 little plastic 'knobs' that insert into the lid. But they really are not designed strong enough our thick enough and they break off. If they would design the handle to be stronger, they would have a much better product. If yours breaks, they can send you a replacement, if you keep your information and order number AND YOU MAY ALSO NEED THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND SHIPPING BOX, SO SAVE THEM. If it is out of warranty, I don't think the handle would be too hard to fix by drilling...

This is a wonderful cooker! I use it every day.
I saw the Fagor 12 Quart Halogen Tabletop oven on QVC. I saw it on Amazon for a great price, and no shipping! I was wondering if this was another gimmick. I use it to make dinners every evening for my husband and I. The meat is never dry and it tastes delicious. I love cooking again because of the shorter cooking time and the cleanup is a breeze. We are eating healthier now, and the food tastes amazing. Fagor is a pretty good brand, and I wanted to simplify my life....It can't get any simpler than this. :-)
I'm trying all kinds of foods and with great success!

Low Quality Control
I purchased the Secura Halogen Oven along with the Fagor Halogen Oven. My first purchase was the Secura model, but after doing a little research and comparing specs I noticed that Fagor model was essentially the same oven without certain connivence features (such as a removable electrical cord). The Fagor was nearly 25% cheaper so I opted for it and was going to return the Secura box un-opened. Due to mishaps by Fedex, which have turned out to be a blessing in disguise, I ended up with both ovens at the same time. I first opened and tried the Fagor model, because this was the oven I planned to keep. After cleaning the oven as instructed by the manufacturer, I noticed the convection and heating process of the Fagor: theres a halogen bulb that produces heat and a fan motor that creates convection by circulating air. When you clean the oven as instructed a small amount of smoke or steam is created inside the oven and you can see the airflow of heated air. So far so good, but when...

Emerson Fabric Steamer

Waste of money
I was skeptical when my wife picked out a cheap steamer, but we just need it to steam a few dress shirts so i thought we'd give it a shot. Excuse my language but the thing sucks!!!

I got it, filled it to the line and plugged it in, worked great...for 2 full minutes. I couldn't get it to heat up or steam the rest of the day.

My wife tried it again a few days later to no avail.

I just tried it once more, i just needed to steam this shirt i was going to wear today...plugged it in, turned it on, and bam it started heating up right away. I thought great, it wasn't a waste of money after all. I got almost 1 sleeve steamed when the steam quit coming and the steamer cooled off. Now i can't get it to turn on again.

So i guess if you know what shirt you are going to wear in 2 weeks and can steam 1 part of it each day for the next 10 or 12 days in the allotted 2 minutes of run time per day for this piece of garbage then it's a steal, as it's only $12...

Half a use!!!!
I received this as a Christmas gift from a pharmacy chain. I finally had something that needed to be steamed and I pulled out my little steamer. It won't stop leaking after steaming half a dress! What a waste!!

Big dissapointment
Bought this at the local drugstore. Like so many other reviews here, the thing leaked like crazy, hot water all over the place. What a huge dissapointment, wish I had read the reviews here before bothering with the thing.

Boveda 75% Humidity - 12 Pack

expensive, but awesome for the lazy cigar smoker!
While I admit Boveda packets are the snobby way to care for our humidors ( they are ALOT more expensive then simple sterile water and gel solutions) they are so much simpler to maintain.
Just pop the necessary number into your humidor, I have found in my home with forced air heat that 4 packets work best in my small humidor (it holds 150 cigars) I put 2 in the bottom area and 2 in the top and they last about 50 days. I do not have to constantly top off the moisture as I do with the gel containers and it does hold the humidity between 72-74% on average.
If you have some extra money to spend I definately suggest using these as they are perfect for the lazy smoker who does not want to bother with weekly fillings of other humidity sources.

Brainless Humidification of Your Sticks
This is the easiest way to keep your sticks optimally moist. No fuss, no worries.

However, they are expensive. Its like a 'Dixie Cup', you 'use it' and throw it away. You can't wash it, and use it again.

Because, I want to smoke my cigars, and not be over-involved in the Heating, Ventilation, and Cooling of my Humidor, these are worth it to me.

These things just work
I bought these to help keep my humidor humidified and for use in my mobile humidor. Our house is tremendously dry due to use of a dehumidifier, so my humidor dries out very quickly. If I throw one of these in my humidor I can rapidly tell how fast moisture seeps out, one is only lasting about 2-3 weeks. It's a great plus to understand my humidor needs help, but I'm not sure I want to start using these to maintain it. Overall, they seem to work just fine, can't attest to how precise it works.

Whirlpool 4396838RC Dishwasher Rack Repair Kit, White

Does what it's supposed to
I used this on an older dishwasher that already had a lot of rusting and after two coats it seems to be holding up. The only complaint I have is that I wish the paint was a little thicker so it could wrap around trouble spots a little better. Kit comes with a built in brush (like a nail polish bottle)and end caps.

Whirlpool Dishwasher Rack Repair Kit
I was planning to buy a new dishwasher to replace my old dishwasher because of a rusty dish rack. I was searching for a product that could repair the dish rack first before spending for a new dishwasher and I came to this product and tried it. Well the vinyl touch up is about 4oz. and the tine tips is 150pcs. which is more than enough for my needs. The secret for a successful repair is to remove all the rust and I used a circular steel brush (like this one "Hobart 770390 Circular Shank Power Brush, 3-CIR/CRS") with my drill and this "Ingersoll-Rand Die Grinder Stones" which really helps. I triple coat the rack and it looks like new. Take your time and do not rush your work, because at the end your satisfaction comes from how well you did your job. Great product!

Sort of pricey for what I got, jury still out on effetiveness
Four ounce bottle of vinyl paint and 60 or so 1/8" caps made for the tine ends for ~$24 dollars, not a good value for dollar spent. I have a 10 year old Whirlpool dishwasher which is in very good working order, (runs w/o incident, cleans well, low noise). Amongst its minor issues is a soap dispensor lid which doesn't open ( so I don't snap it shut afer adding the detergent, the clear film over the operating mode selection buttons cracked and wore thru after 2 years of use, and the vinyl covered steel dish holding rack started wearing thru about a year ago. The rusted wire started depositing rust stains on the cleaned dishes recently so I sought a fix. My thoughts of an out-right rack replacement were dashed when I found the price to be about $150 including shipping. A new similar model dishwasher was about $350. After some research I came across this recoating product. I bougth the whirlpool labeled version thinking it might be more taylored to my appliance. After cleaning...

VacMaster 944300 Variety Pack of Vacuum-Packaging Storage Bags, 60 Count

Works Great
I own a FoodSaver Vacuum machine and these bags work well with it. This variety pack has a nice selection of bags at a reasonable price. I use my sealer for a lot of things, one of which is re-packaging freeze-dried backpacking food. The original packaging usually has quite a bit of air in the pouch and takes up extra room in the pack. By using a one quart vacuum bag, this is solved and the food can be cooked in and eaten out of the bag.

Surprisingly great quality
I've used a few different brands for vacuum sealing. After I used these though, I didn't realize how little quality the others were. I was shocked. I use these for my dried foods, which most of the time have sharp edges. I wasn't sure if they were going to work, because I have had to double bag everything with all the other brands I've used. However, I didn't have to do that with these bags, at least not on all the foods but one.

The only bad experience I've had thus far is that they lost their seal with dried potatoes. I will say, there hasn't been a bag yet that hasn't lost it's seal with dried cubed potatoes. The edges are like knives. However, I sealed the potatoes in two different bags. The Weston and these. This bag actually lost it's seal much later than the rest. I thought the Weston bags would be the best, but these turned out to be.

The added bonus with buying these is that you can get such a large variety pack. I love the different sizes. I hate the...

Better than theirs
These are heavy gage with a double lined area. The variety pack is really nice for all those storage needs.

EdgeStar 6 Place Setting Countertop Portable Dishwasher - Silver

EdgeStar dishwasher is great!
I have had an EdgeStar dishwasher for around 3.5 years now and I decided it was about time I wrote a review. Why? Because in all this time, this appliance has never given me any trouble and it still works perfectly. I honestly expected to have it for a short time as it's a compact appliance. I did not have much faith in it.

But after this long, I have to say it did surprise me. It still washes dishes quite perfectly. It works better when I remember to put the dry-in liquid in the back. And while it's true that I kind of clean them well before putting them in, it's probably mostly because I am a little OCD. So I haven't tried putting super dirty dishes yet and can't testify on that.

I must say it did work funny once, a couple of years ago, if I remember correctly the water didn't come down. But somehow it corrected itself (!) and this never happened again. Another thing is that you can't fit that much in, so if you have a family of 4-6 it's probably on the small...

Great dish washer
I have used this dish washer several times since purchasing it. The results have been excellent . I live by myself, so I do not have many dishes at a time. I bought the washer after my full size one broke down. This washer gets my dishes very clean, it is also quieter than my old washer. It uses very little water, and so far it has cleaned everything I have put in it. Excellent appliance.

Perfect for a small family
I received this counter-top dishwasher for Christmas, on the same day I was to prepare a standing rib roast, 2 whole chickens, and country style ribs and all the fixings for 10 people. Needless to say, I put this dishwasher through its paces that night. Yes, I had to reload several times, but for once I could entertain while my dishes were being done. I also have to admit I shoved several dishes into the EdgeStar 6 which wasn't necessarily "recommended" by the manufacturer, but they came out sparkling.

I had a little issue with cloudy residue on my dishes which was easily remedied by cutting down my detergent in half (which makes sense, considering the machine itself is half the size of a conventional dishwasher). I had purchased a tub of Cascade complete pacs and found that if I cut them in half and saved the other half for the next washing, the dishes turned out perfectly.

On one occasion, my dishwasher leaked from behind at the hose connection. Now, before...

T-fal FF172D52 Filtra One Brushed Stainless Steel 1,600-Watt Cool Touch Exterior Electric Deep Fryer, Silver

A Nice Fryer, works well, but!
I bought this fryer after looking at many others. I've always done well with T-fal in the past so when I came across this one I gave it a good hard look. First I should say that I do not regret buying this unit. It is very attractive as fryers go, has nice lines and is very simple to use. I was glad to get away from the immersion type deep fryer, and, although we have not used it a lot as of yet we did put it through it's paces with the first use. We had bought a box of frozen fritter style chicken breasts. They were not precooked and you are instructed to cook frozen. The fryer has a nice large basket which allowed for cooking 4-6 good size pieces at one time. Recovery time for reheating of the oil after putting the frozen food down was very good, better than I expected especially because this is not an immersion type fryer. The amount of oil that it takes to fill it to maximum is also a nice feature, it takes probably a third less oil than my last fryer. So far so good right, well...

Lets get Frying
this is a decent litlle fryer with a very nice look. ordered this just in time for Thanksgiving and it did a very nice job .
it does seem to fool you as to how much grease you put in, as most would like to fill it more than recommended, but it does the trick. I mean lets face it you not going to deep fry a turkey, or have a mass fish fry.
It is perfect for small get togethers and such.

the filter method is ok. it does remove 95% of most crumbs etc.. to help greas from over burning the next time used.
I would recommend as a gift to singles, couples, small families.

It works great!
No complaints here.. The family likes it and its so convenient for the kids to start frying their own chicken and learning how to season instead of worrying about burning down the house with a frying pan. ha

Stainless Steel 30" x 20" Wall Mount Range Hood with 900 CFM

Powerful Fan
This was purchased as a gift for my parents, who are of Indian (Asian) descent. Indian food is pretty spicy , and this fan does a great job in keeping the house clear of all the great smells. While Indian food smells great, its not something you want to wear like a cologne. The fan has multiple fan settings, and on high can be pretty loud, but the fan provides a very nice look to a newly remodeled kitchen. This was also a lot cheaper and way more powerful than any of the fans I found at Home Depot.
After a year of use, my parents are very pleased with the product. The stainless steel finish cleans off very easily with a little vinegar, and the filters are easily removed and cleaned.

Great price, dimmer replaced in 1 month
Pros: Very nice looking, quality stainless for the price. Upfront controls, simple to operate, low fan noise at lower speed settings.

Cons: Rear halogen light placement means front burners on range are a little dimly lit, but I have other peripheral counter-top lighting that compensates for this, so not really an issue for me. The designed in SAT70 12V halogen transformer failed within the first month, maybe because it was not designed to be dimmed. It was an easy repair to cut the four wires and splice in a better quality Lightech LET-75 transformer. Now the range hood is fully functional.

This is the one you want!
I was very hesitant about ordering a product like this without being able to see, touch, or feel it, especially considering the price! After shopping my local stores I came back and ordered this range hood with my fingers crossed. It finished our total kitchen remodel and is the final piece of bling that finishes the look. My contractor was quite impressed with the air it sucks out of the room! For the price you cannot go wrong with this hood!!! We love it!

KitchenAid KFP0922OB 9 Cup Food Processor - Onyx Black

Perfect gift every time
Because I have 3 KitchenAid Food Processors - different sizes, different homes, when I need to buy a gift and I see it on a registry for someone, it it always my goto gift. My oldest FP is now more than 15 years old and it gets constant use still. After all this time, the bowl is a bit nicked up but the blades are as sharp as ever and I couldn't manage without it. The 9-cup FP is a big workhorse and one I would absolutely recommend to anyone who cooks. It does quantity in a hurry and it doesn't have all those goofy pieces that are permanent attachments to some FPs. It is heavy duty yet doesn't have a scream or squeal to it, which is definitely appreciated if cooking with several people or entertaining while you cook. Buy it, you can't go wrong.

I LOVE IT!!
I just bought this (at a local membership-club store) for $99. I LOVE it. The engineers have thought of everything for this food processor. It has a large bowl and a small bowl. The food pusher is a 3-in-1. There are even seals on the bowls. It snaps easily in place. I ground over 10 lbs of chicken with it yesterday. It was AWESOME. Considerably lighter weight to lift, as well. In addition, KitchenAid has a 1-year "no hassle" return policy.

My daughter loves it!
Gift for my daughter - she specifically requested this make and model, and she wasn't disappointed. Perfect for processing lots of vegetables and fruits for canning and freezing.

Maytag Stove / Oven / Range Bake Element 77001094

Fast service.
The part was processed quickly, was the best price of all the places I looked as well as shipping. The part was just the right thing as was advertised. Very pleased with the service, thanks.

Worked great
Just what I needed with very low price.
I was a little hard to cross reference some part numbers to get the right element but with a little work on my behalf it all worked out.

Amana Bake Element
I never, ever write a review, but I feel that this is in order. Our Amana oven is so old, that I can't even figure out what year it was manufactured. We are remodeling our kitchen in 2/14. So, when the oven caught on fire on 8/20, I didn't know what to do. Our plans were to remodel in February. I didn't want to purchase a "new" oven now. I went onto Amazon, GOOGLED what would work with an Amana oven (SINCE IT IS SO OLD, THEY DON"T MAKE PARTS FOR IT ANY LONGER). Came across this element. I figure for $12, let me try. It has to be better than spending the $2k I wanted for a new oven. I ordered it on 8/20 and on 8/23!!!!! it was here. Perfectly timed, the carpenter was here finishing the bathroom and installed it. It WORKS wonderfully.

Thank you so, so much for prompt shipping. Great product so far. It hasn't caught on fire...

Thank you again.

279769 Dryer Thermal Fuse Kit REPAIR PART FOR WHIRLPOOL, AMANA, MAYTAG, KENMORE AND MORE

falsely identified
this product was listed with pictures of the genuine whirlpool product and packaging. therefore i was lead to believe it was as pictured. however when received, i found it to be a generic replacement. It was selling for less than the genuine product, but more than the properly labeled non-genuine items,( i assumed it was old stock from a out of business repair facility). if the product was not a genuine product, it should not have been allowed to use the whirlpool logo and product in its advertising, this was deceiving and likely illegal.

Excellent And Great Deal
Unfortunately I had to buy new fuse set for my dryer, and I bought these same fuses from another company on amazon and they failed. However, I looked at the other sellers product description and fount out that there's weren't OEM. But, these are and I got to say its been over a month now and my dryer is still running.

You wont be sorry for getting these off here, I went to Sears.com and they wanted like almost 50 bucks for two little fuses. I wasn't about to pay that much for two little fuses.

So if you want to save some money and get great quality buy these.

got these under 3 days.

Fusible Link
The replacement thermostat and fusible link worked well and dryer is back up and running. I did purchase a cheaper version of this product from another vendor and it had no part number or orther description on it. It failed within a few cycles. I can't say it was an inferior product to this one since I did not clean out the vent pipe until after the first unit failed. It was cleaned before this second product was installed and continues to work well.

GE 54365 Pull-Chain Switch

Works like a charm!
Used this to replace the broken pull cord on my bedroom fan - very easy installation and works wonderfully. Much cheaper than Lowes.

Nice fit, the chain is cheap
It cost some effort to remove the old rusted switch, but I am glad this new switch fit in the space.

My only complain is the pull chain: it is too short and the extension is of cotton string! It created some challenge to install.

As pictured
Replace my brothers light switch in his ceiling fan in the matter of minutes. Did not need any connectors. Used the ones in the fan housing. Be sure to cut off the electric to the unit you are installing this switch into. If you are doing this you probably already know that.

Whirlpool 8053344 Oven Sensor

Oven Temperature Issues
I ordered this unit to replace the temperature probe in my Sear's Oven because the oven would not keep an even temperature (it would wander by over 100 degrees from the set temperature). All of the online support sites for appliances said this was what the problem was.

Turns out, this was NOT the problem and is rarely what the problem is for most ovens according to three different repair shops I went to trying to get this oven fixed after trying the temperature probe. The problem turns out to be the temperature control logic (relays) and that part is NOT available. So, new oven time!!

This temperature probe comes with a fitting that may or may not fit your oven even if your oven was made by Whirlpool (the Sears oven was made by them). The solution if the fitting does not work is to cut off the fitting and use ceramic wire nuts to splice this probe in place. Most replacement temperature probes come with these ceramic wire nuts, but this kit does not. Ensure...

didn't fit
I ordered this for my whirlpool and everything is the same except the connector. It doesn't fit into the connector on the stove. :-(

Worked great with a HotPoint Gas Range
The connector on this device connected directly to the old connector on the range.
No modifications needed. The temporature is much better now.

4-Piece Central Vacuum Accessory Set - Color May Very

Nice set of brushes!
I'm pleased with these brushes and recommend them. I have only one quibble: I thought my set would be white, like in the picture above, but the set I received was black. I decided that it doesn't matter, and you probably won't care either. On to the important things!

All of them fit the standard-size wand on my Eureka SmartVac, just as promised. If the tube on your own vacuum is 1 and 1/4 inches, they should fit yours too. The brushes seem sturdy and well-made, with no loose bristles or flashing around the mold seams. The plastic is hard and fairly thick and has an attractive texture. You get a crevice tool, a round upholstery brush, a 5 and 1/2 inch hard-bristled brush and a lovely 10 inch long floor brush, which has soft bristles and wheels on the bottom. There is also an interesting caddy, which has sockets for three brushes and a clip to hold them onto a tube someplace on your vacuum cleaner.

Here's a surprise: the bristles on the round brush and the floor...

Great!!
Surprised my wife with a new set of attachments for our Vac-U-Flo. I'm a hero!! :-) These seem better than the originals.

Handy attachments you'll need in your bonus room
Great attachments for my bonus room over the garage...

My only gripe was I bought four vacuum pieces, 35' hose, this Accessory Set, TurboCat Brush, and 2 inlets at one purchace. I was surprised to discover I got charged for each individual item's "shipping & handling"... to me, that was underhanded on Amazon's part... since I met the criteria for no shipping charges with my total order...

AMAZON, you 'could' reimburse me if y'all wanna be nice!

Hoky RotorBrush 23T Sweeper

The original is still best
This is the original unit with brushes that really pick up the dirt. It is made the same as it has been for many many years and still does the job as well as always. This is the model to buy. If you buy the one with rubber blades instead of brushes you will be sorry. Stick with the original.

It's A Hoky
This Hoky replaces the original bought decades ago. With one exception, quality is every bit as good. The exception is the handle, which comes in two pieces for compact packaging and shipping - it it makes using it just a little wobbly. Not a deal breaker, just not quite as good as the original. The rest of the mechanics are rock solid and it really cleans. I will get one for my office, too!

HOKY LIVES UP TO NAME
All growing up, my grandmother had a Hoky. It was a puke yellow color and it was awesome. 10 years into my marriage and 4 kids later... I was searching for something to do a "quick pick up" on my area rug. I somehow stumbled across the memory of my grandmothers carpet sweeper. My whole downstairs is hardwood, and I hated hauling my vacuum up and down the stairs (almost daily) just to clean my area rug. Now don't get me wrong... I still do a thorough vacuum once a week... but with my littlest guy just starting to crawl... I was in need of something I could pull out of the closet, vacuum, and be done, in 2 minutes or less. THIS WAS THE TICKET! It's easy enough my 4, 5, and 7 year old to use. It picked up small rocks, cereal, lint, hair, wrappers... it is great! I was nervous about spending $40 on this baby... but I am SO GLAD I did!!! Totally worth it!!!! Now I can have a freshly vacuumed look ALL DAY LONG, and not worry about my baby putting something into his mouth!!!!!!

2 Vacuum Cleaner Pet Grooming Groomer Brush Attachment Tools - Fits ALL Vacuum Cleaners; Works great on Dogs & Cats - Unwanted Pet Hair Goes Into Your Vacuum Cleaner Before it Has a Chance to Settle Around your Home

Handy Tool for Heavy Shedders
I just received this and tried it out on our cattle dog, who sheds an insane amount of fur when the weather is hot as it has been here this summer. The tool with the plastic teeth works very well on her. The teeth provide just enough space to ensure the vacuum hose never suctions onto the skin. We have a bagless vaccuum with a see-through canister, so I could see how much fur was being brushed off. (Filled half a canister in a five minute session.) We also have the Furminator, which works really well but has to be used outside to avoid making a huge mess of dog fur. This tool will come in very handy when the weather turns bad and brushing indoors becomes a necessity.

Some hair does get wrapped around the plastic teeth, but I just left the vac running and pushed it up off the teeth every couple of minutes and it went right down the vac hose leaving no mess in the room.

The unusual sensation and noise of the vaccuum did make my dog a little nervous at first, but I...

Great Tool Set
I have six little dogs with different coat lengths. I bought this set to (hopefully) give myself a leg up on controlling the pet hair in my home. I figured why not get the loose hair off the dog first? Maybe I can vacuum a little less frequently than every day.

The tool set is great! It comes with a brush for short-haired pets, and a comb for long-haired pets. Since I have both, I was able to give both a try. My initial impression is WOW! A lot of loose hair came off the dogs and went into the vacuum bag instead of onto my couch and carpeting.

The brush and comb are both well constructed from heavy duty plastic. They fit snugly onto my standard Hoover canister hose with no adaptor....my vacuum is a standard size so it should fit most canister vacs and shop vacs (1 1/4" hose) right out of the box. It also includes an adaptor for what looks to be "euro" model canisters like Miele. I did not test that since my vacs are all standard 1 1/4" hoses.

Hair litter
This product seems to be working very well. It fits on our vacuum with the special attachment just fine and once we got our dog to not be afraid of the vacuum cleaner, all went well. He actually seems to enjoy it now. Thanks.

Breville BBM800XL Custom Loaf Bread Maker

Absolutely great, though best for larger loaves
This is probably one of the best breadmakers out there. I've used it to make whole wheat bread on numerous occasions, and except for one time that I'm assuiming was somehow my fault in not measuring the ingredients correctly, they all turned out great--and I'm usually not one to describe bread machine bread like that (this is not my first machine; I've been known to just use them to mix, knead, and proof the dough, then shape and bake by hand in my own pan in the oven). In addition to a variety of preprogrammed settings, it lets you take any of them and customize the exact time of any of the steps, as well as the temperature for the preheat, rise, and bake phases. The phases, if you're wondering, are: pre-heat, knead 1, knead 2, rise 1, rise 2, their associated punchdowns, rise 3, bake, and the optional post-baking "keep warm" phase, though not all programs include all phases (whole wheat is, in fact, the only one that uses them all). You can also save these custom programs in the...

Great user interface, terrible paddle
Pros:
The LCD screen on this is FANTASTIC. The best of any bread maker I have seen.
Large pan size works well for things like brownies and cornbreads.
Customization is great.

Cons:
The collapsible paddle takes a giant chunk out of most breads, especially yeast-free breads such as cornbread. It also wears away the non-stick coating wherever the collapsing part touches another part on the paddle, thus I have eaten some Teflon.
The nut dispenser could be larger. It did not work when overfilled (leaving the nut door open).

I really wanted to love the Breville. The LCD screen is awesome. But the lame collapsible paddle ruins it. It might be going back. What to buy instead?

Nothing is better than fresh bread
My husband and I had a Cuisinart Bread maker for about 2 years. This past spring, it started behaving strangely and then it started to produce big lumps of really bad bread. Since I had other Breville products, the Smart Grill and the Convection Oven, I decided to give Breville's bread maker a try.

The interface is much easier to use than the Cuisinart. Especially for my parents who have no understanding of technology. The window feature is fantastic and my son LOVES watching the bread knead and mix. The top slips off easily for cleaning, our Cuisinart started to do this on its own when the hinge broke. Breville's was designed to slip off when needed.

I know people have complained about the dent from the collapsable paddle. Compared to the enormous whole from the Cuisinart, the little dent from the Breville was not even an issue for me. Getting the paddle out of baked bread in the Cuisinart was like perfoming major surgery and a surgeon I am not...

Tornado Power Cleaning Cloths

Big Surprise
Just used Tornado Power cloths for the first time. I used them purely out of curiousity. My central vacuum had been working fine, but you never know what is lurking behind those walls. I have three inlets. When I checked the cleaned bucket after using the cloths (2 separate cloths for each inlet, because the vac. is 20 yrs old and this was the first try), I found 30 flooring nails, a small piece of wood,a small piece of roofing shingle and about a cup of dust. I have no idea how this stuff (other than the dust) got into the system, but it was amazing that it was cleared with the cloths. I definitely will use this product once or twiceTornado Power Vacuum Cleaner Maintenance Cloths, 25 Pack Canister a year because I was so impressed by its efficiency.

Great product
This product pushed a lot of "stuff" through the hose and pipes. I previously had a bad odor in my garage (where the collection canister is) after running the vacuum. That is completely gone! I plan to use these cloths on a regular basis.

Excellent!
These little cloths solved the problem of a smelly central vac! Constant vacuuming pet hair left our vac less than fresh-smelling. I now use these cloths in each vac inlet each time I clean the canister, per Tornado instructions. I'm amazed at how easy it is to keep the vac smelling clean. Highly recommend these!

Broil Element for Frigidaire, Tappan 316203200

good product fast shipping
I recieved the new broiler element very quickly and for low shipping cost..quality seems good considering most appliance parts stores want 2-4 X more dollars for comparable units and i looked all over including *bay.

The right part for my stove
Heating element was reasonably priced and the exact right part that I needed. Was shipped to me in a couple of days.

Wrong part but it works.
I actually needed the bottom element, but I mistakenly ordered this one instead. I plugged it in, and it works just the same as the original bottom element. It was also cheaper than a bottom element, so I saved money by ordering the wrong part.

Viking Range Grate Rubber Feet or Grate Bumper Package of 16 PD040035

Does not fit Wolf Ranges.
Does not fit my Wolf range, which I thought it might. Cannot find the rubber feet for Wolf anywhere darn it.

Also fit Dacor grates
These also fit Dacor grates. Use a small drill bit on slow speed to remove the old leftover rubber if it's still stuck in the hole. Much more reasonable price vs. the $8-10 per 4 bumpers that others want.

viking rubber feet
The item is wonderful. I am using the rubber feet on the bottom of my burners where the rubber has worn out. They fit perfectly and Viking will only sell you new burners (at $75 each).

The First Years Replacement Pads for American Red Cross Cool Mist Humidifier

don't buy
This did not arrive in proper packaging. In fact it was only one filter, not two, and not in any type of plastic wrapping. No where does it indicate that it was made by TOMY.

Not good
I guess I'll keep getting these as I don't see much of a choice short of buying another humidifier. But these don't last long before they get cruddy and stop wicking moisture. Not impressed.

didn't fit my humidifier
this showed it was for my model humidifier and it didn't fit. It was longer and skinner than the ones that fit my model. It didn't come in a box like it usually does. Just 2 filters in a mailing envelope. So I don't have a packaging box for it to double check if it is truely the correct model number.

The Brentwood JC500 juice extractor makes a great addition to any kitchen. It has a stainless steel housing and 700 watt of power. It features 2 speed control with stainless steel blade and a slide-out pulp container.

Brentwood JC-500
I have used a few different brands of juicers in the past, and the Brentwood did not disappoint me at all. I was impressed by the 800 watts of power, and two speed settings, as well as the sturdy construction. I like the pitcher that collects the juice, more so than the one that comes with the higher end Breville. It fits well under the spout, and does have the divider to prevent foamy juice when poured into a glass. The pulp catcher fits securely, and does not allow any stray pulp to escape from around the top edges. It is not as loud as other juicers I have used either. It has a nice wide mouth, so prep time is low. Clean up time was also a breeze with this Brentwood. The con? The pulp is a bit wetter than a Breville would have it, but not as wet as other juicers I have tried; it is not so bad as to deduct a star though. I have no problem recommending this product; it was a great buy.
****
A couple tips for new juicer's: Buy a Denture Toothbrush from the dollar store(or...

So Far So Good
I researched this juicer based on other reviews and I'm quite happy with this so far. There's nothing wrong with it, but I'm apprehensive to go 5 stars due to the fact I haven't had it that long. Just got it this week, easy to unpack and put together. Works great, no problems. Very powerful. No splash back from juice or pulp. Very easy to clean, just as long as you clean it right after you juice. Probably the same goes for all juicers. I would recommend using a toothbrush to clean the fine strainer inside as you will spend too much time running water through it. The brush is a great idea, and takes 30 secs to clean.
I'll give an update in a few weeks.

Great Price, Great Product
Thanks for the review from previous buyer. I was looking for a Juicer for quite a while and couldn't decide which one to buy an expensive one or a cheaper one. It happened I go on search at Amazon to find this product on sale at $24.99 and I look into the buyers' review, the comments are quite good with this brand. So I immediately purchase it, with this price I thought even not good just give it a try. On the date the Juicer arrived, my Mom was with me, she had 3 different Juicers at home very expensive professional one to a small handy one. When she saw the Brentwood JC500 she immediately give it a try after cleaning. She said this one is the best comparing to what she had. Its easy to assembly easy, easy to clean and with strong power, the noise is acceptable not to loud. So I want to put down the review so that anyone who are interested with this one, this is worth buying.

Keurig Blue Mini Brewer - K10

Keurig, don't give up, bring on the improvements
Delivery was prompt. First machine was wrong color of blue. The seller refunded, I reordered, and the second prompt delivery was the right color. Love making one cup at a time. Love the convenience of prepared pods. Hate that prepared pods cost so much more than filling a pod myself. Have used the K10 about one month and only had one problem. I frequently use my own grind and fill pods to keep expenses down. I don't mind the sludge in the bottom of the cup because it does not reach the lips with granular yuk. The problem is that the full cup of water I pour in results in only about a 3/4 cup of coffee. If I used prepared pods, the unit uses the full cup of water. The extra water must accumulate because I noticed leaking. I had to upend the machine over the sink to pour out excess water. Other complaints: Can't see the water level; No way to stop coffee from pouring out if I forget to put the cup under; Barely tall enough for my mugs even with the silver platform removed...

Keurig Mini Brewer
Love this compact little brewer with the big taste! It's quick, easy and has converted me to drinking decaf in the evenings and using a take-out cup of full-strength for the drive in to work. I can't miagine why I waited so long to replace my clunky old coffee-maker!

Major disappointment!
The product has a cheap light plastic quality. It does brew steaming hot water if that is what you want. I decided to return the product and upgraded

Whirlpool 33001003 Dryer Lint Filter

Excellent Replacement At 1/5 The Price
The lint filter on my Maytag dryer model # LDE512 cracked completely through on the left side (after the screen tore in two places).

Maytag wants just under thirty dollars for this part (before shipping), and even third-party parts websites average from 12-24 dollars (before shipping).

Checked here, and lo! This is a compatible replacement for this model number (among many others).
It arrived quickly, adequately packaged.

Putting it into the filter screen slot, it went in fine 4/5 of the way and stopped! As though it were too wide at the top. D'oh!! Not wanting to force it/break it, I removed it. And cursed.
And went to my local parts store, where they assured me they had the correct replacement, for 12.99. Bought one, thinking it looked suspiciously similar. But what do I know, right. Alas - same part. Cursed again.

Then it occurred to me that a) I might have been wrong before, and b) now I had two, so what could it matter if I...

Better than the orginal factory screen
Great filter, screen is metal and not the cheap fabric ones that rip, plastic is sturdy. Much easier to clean than the original factory. Price was almost 1/3 what other places were selling them for online. Just a lint screen, but very pleased.

fantastic
I rated this a 5 because it worked perfectly, it actually fits better than the original. We received it very quickly and the cost was fantastic. Very happy with this purchase.

Hydrosorbent Silica Gel Dehumidifier 200 Gram Reuseable

Outstanding Performance-But Take Caution!!!
Silica Gel is a great product for keeping your valuables dry- such as tools, clothing, jewelry, guns, coins and other valuables. This product works well as represented. It is basically, nothing more than a sack filled with silica gel beads within an outer cardboard box. I use this to keep an area of about 10 cubic feet dry and it seems to be working effectively.

What many purchasers may not be aware of however, is that the silica beads are impregnated with cobalt (II) chloride hexahydrate which is used as an indicator for the presence of moisture in desiccants. The beads eventually will change color from blue to pink when moisture is present in the air, signaling that it is time to recharge the beads (shown by an indicator card resting on the bottom of the container). Unfortunately, cobalt chloride is classified as a carcinogen by the IARC, and it is both toxic and corrosive when exposed to water. Therefore, you should not tamper with or expose the beads to water...

It works.
I bought a hydrometer to measure the humidity levels in an enclosed, air-tight cabinent and this stuff does
reduce the humidity. From 60% to 40% in my case. Adequate for my mold prevention requirement.

Simple and effective.
I use this in a medium sized gun safe. It works perfectly. As described, when the indicators change color all you have to do is bake in the oven to dry it out. I just did this for the first time a week ago. It worked as advertised, and it is back in my safe.
Simple and effective.

Dyson Mattress Tool

Happy pet owner
The Mattress Tool is the most used tool from my Dyson DC14 Animal Upright Vacuum collection. I inherited a cat who assumes my queen size bed is hers. I use this tool on the mattress, mattress pad, feather bed, sheets (while still on the bed), pillow cases (left on the pillows),pillows and my beloved quilts and shams (easiest to clean while left on bed). It really saves time and my washer and dryer. I used to double and triple wash to get rid of the cat hair and have to clean hair out of the washer each time. I even use it on clothing (I put them on a hanger and hold the bottom down while gliding the tool downward). I also have a 12 yr. old German Shepherd who sheds a lot. I use the Mini Turbine Head to clean her super-sized bed and twin-sized sheets (easiest while still on bed). I also have the Low Reach Floor Tool. Fantastic for getting pet hair from under my heavy furniture. I've owned a lot of vacuums and Dyson is by far the best out there for pet owners. I use all of...

This is a must-have for anyone with pets!
My cats love to sleep on the guest bed. I used this mattress tool on the comforter and pillow shams on that bed, and I swear it never looks this good unless it's been dry cleaned! It was remarkably easy and quick, and while it removed all the cat hair, it never tried to suck up the comforter.

I've also used this on my sofa and loveseat, with great success!

Overpriced!
This product is OK - it's just a larger version of the upholstery tool that you probably already have with the vacuum. The head is eight inches wide with two little strips of lint-catching fabric. The extra width lets you vacuum areas twice as fast, but for what it is, this attachment is ridiculously overpriced!

Simplicity Type W Synchrony HEPA Vacuum Cleaner Bags 6 Pack

Great price
OEM product at a great price. I would recommend buying simply to save the cost over what local retailers are offering this for.

Knew what I needed
Just what I expected, was able to buy in person at a store near my home before moving to a different city, so I am now glad amazon has them online as I don't think Simplicity vacuums let you substitute a different kind - only complaint is they are kind of expensive although it is a great vacuum for pet hair.

Filters
We love our vacuum. Amazon delivers an affordable price for these filters. There's not much to say about these except they are what we wanted, they work like they're suppose to, and they were delivered :)

EZE-LAP S Pen Type Sharpener with Unique Shape and Groove

Super mini sharpener: Great for stainless knives
I recently lost my sharpener and replaced it with the same model. I had my previous EZE-Lap S-Pen for 10 years or more. Its small size and diamond surface made it an ideal companion for someone like me who uses a knife several times every day. The EZE-Lap has a flat surface, a rounded surface, and a groove for fish hooks. The flat surface is useful on most blades. The rounded surface works well on many serrated knives like Spyderco (R). The EZE-Lap is the only sharpener I've found that will quickly sharpen a Swiss Army-type knife. It will whip that hard stainless into a razor-sharp edge in just a minute or two. You won't regret buying EZE-Lap.

Every tackle box needs one
All of my tackle boxes have some sort of hook sharpener in them and I will say this one rates at the top. It does not take up any room to speak of and is so easy to pull the cover tube off and place it on the end for a handle. I find at times with smaller hooks, I don't even put the handle on so I can work with just the sharpening rod (easier to hold when working with small hooks). Have used it for touching up my pocket knife in the boat, but it is a bit small for serious knife sharpening and EZE-LAP does offer better models for this. I have shifted my sharpeners in the tackle boxes and the EZE-LAP S Pen Type is now in my main boxes that get about 90% of all my fishing use. I have no problem recommending this sharpener to anyone for their tackle box.
Once you use it, you will be hooked. . . .and so will the fish

Clipless
This sharpener is very nice to use sharpening hooks, it is "right sized" to hold in the hand and sharpen hooks in the middle of the stream and the grit is sufficiently fine that it points the hooks well. My problem, and the reason for the low rating, is that the clip pulled out of the case the second day of use! It may work fine with a light weight shirt pocket, but not with my Simms fishing vest.

Breville BEM800XL Scraper Mixer Pro 5-Quart Die-Cast Stand Mixer

My (new) Favorite Mixer!
OK, I will be completely honest, I am not an excellent cook. I am a good one. But I am an excellent baker. I take it extremely seriously and have been baking for a very long time. Like any baker, novice or highly skilled, I take pride in what I bake and how it is done. And sometimes there is frustration with a mixer and you just forgo it and attack it with good old arm strength to get the last bit of work into something, like a dough. So when this stand mixer arrived I wondered would it stand up to my KitchenAid 600 or would I be left doing more work than I normally would. Thankfully, I can answer that the Brevile 5 quart mixer handles extremely well!

I made two things to test it out: mashed potatoes and cheesecake, don't judge me, that covers most of the food groups. The flat beater handled the potatoes fine. And the added bonus was that the Breville didn't shift across the table on a higher setting, there was a slight vibration. The second test was with the cheesecake. A...

Almost perfect
I spent a few weeks researching mixers online before purchasing this one; after reading all kinds of things about the latest Cuisinart and KitchenAid mixers, I decided to give Breville a try even though I had never heard of their company before. So far I have used it to make 2 loaves of bread, a batch of cupcakes, Swiss meringue buttercream frosting, and some espresso meringues. I had never made bread before, but the mixer made it much easier and less frightening than I was expecting. Even though I frakked up the recipe on the first load (accidentally leaving out the milk!), the bread still came out quite fluffy and well mixed. The cupcakes were perfect, fluffier than they'd ever been when I've mixed them by hand or with my hand-held mixer. The frosting was also perfect - this recipe usually takes me 15-20 minutes when using my hand mixer, but the Breville cut it down to about 4:30. My mind was blown. It did such a good job whipping the egg whites for the frosting that I decided...

Good, but not for bread
I will start by saying I really liked this mixer. It worked great for cookies, cakes and such. My trouble is I bought this to make bread. I chose this over KitchenAid because of the reviews. I had one of the old 5 qt. Pro's and could do anything with it, but was scared of the new units after Whirlpool became it's parent and all of the poor reviews subsequently. The Breville looks great, the locking bowl and all the attatchments worked well. I make one to two loaves of bread a week, and only make one loaf at a time. At six weeks I made two 1 1/2lb. loaves at the same time and it started smoking, after that when I went back to one loaf at a time, it still smoked. The auto shut off never worked, so I would stop it and knead by hand( not what I bought it for and for $250 it should work as advertised). At two months I contacted Amazon to return it. No problem, but since I bought it from one of their outside stores it has to go back and I will see a refund in maybe a month. OK, sent it back...

Sanitaire SC679J Commercial Shake Out Bag Upright Vacuum Cleaner with 5 Amp Motor, 12" Cleaning Path

Vacuum Zoom
We are tired of heavy vacuum cleaners that seem to break down within a year or so. Poor suction, hair clogs, smell of burning engines, and physical fitness ordeals seem par for the machines. So, we decided to try a lightweight machine. Our internet searches were discouraging because many heavily advertised machines came with dud reviews. This little advertised machine had a few good reviews.

Benefits: Lightweight, bagless (this means that the stuff goes into the machine's cloth bag and the entire bag must be detached to dump the stuff out), easy to set up, cheap, and powerful suction. We have only had the machine a month. So far so good.

Weaknesses: A bit awkward to detach the bag to dump stuff. Then again, we do not have to purchase inner bags. No separate hose attachment for crevices or ducts. So, we will probably have to buy a lightweight machine - perhaps a cannister type or portable carry type - that has a hose attachment.

Summation: I...

Good Little Commercial Vac
I just got this vacuum, and the truth is, there is no such thing as a perfect vacuum. We have a house cleaning business, and so far, I have come to the following conclusion. This his a pretty good vacuum. Here are some of the pros and cons.

Pros:
-It's very light
-Easy to assemble
-Quiet
-Awesome suction
-Good Value

Cons:
-Doesn't work on stairs, (most commercial vacuums don't)
-The shake free bag is very messy, and impossible to completely clean
-Some of the parts look easily breakable

Most of my friends say that they use the carpet pro light model and say that the handle breaks too often and it's 20 lbs heavier. I think for a vacuum under $200, I got a good deal.

Great for Pet Hair
Purchased this for my mother but I have owned one for over five years now and have not had any problems with it, beside my own mistakes like vacuuming up a nail or putting the belt in wrong. It works great for pet hair and I have had two dogs a long hair and a short hair plus it is bag-less which can be a mess inside but my mother empties hers outside and she has no complaints. Overall a great purchased and I also use it to vacuum my tiled floor when I do not feel like sweeping does good at that too.

GENUINE DYSON DC25 POST FILTER #916188-01

Price was right
I checked a bunch of different sites and Amazon was the cheapest! I live in a rural area with no big shopping stores in the area so I take advantage of my prime membership a lot! Had the filter in two days!

Doesn't Fit Tightly
despite it being marketed as a DC25 Dyson product, it doesn't fit my DC25 dyson vacuum well. i'm not actually certain what went wrong, but the loose fitting causes it to vibrate a bit in the vacuum ball, which creates a very loud mechanical error-like sound when running.

if i could go back in time, i would find a way to order through dyson directly; yes, it's that loud.

great
Great and easy to deal with, product is what it says it is, shipped out on time and delived on time

Rubbermaid Commercial Executive Series Executive Series FG421388BLA Galvanized Steel Dual Action Sweeper, 10.5" Length x 9.5" Width x 44" Height

GREAT STURDY HOUSEHOLD SWEEPER.
I have 3 types of flooring in my condo; ceramic tile, hardwood floors and rugs in addition to area rugs and a diva Cocker Spaniel. So keeping everything tidy and clean requires mops, swifter and a vacuum cleaner. My Dirt Devil has a strong suction and cleans great but who wants to be lugging it out 2-3 times a week. So it was time to buy a sweeper that could handle touch-ups on all 3 floors. My first sweeper was the blue Bissell and it lasted about 5 years and its was ok. Then I purchased the economical grey Bissell and the handle wouldn't stay together. Every time I picked it up the handle would disengage. One day I got fed up and threw it away. Then I seriously started reading all the reviews and went with the Rubbermaid for 3 reasons: great reviews, boar bristles and the handle was a screw-on; which hopefully would stay together. I received it today, put it together and swept my floors. VOILA.....it picked up all the crumbs on my kitchen floor, small pieces of twigs and...

The product is wonderful
I saw a staffer using this at a restaurant. At my requst, he identified the item for me. He told me that they have been using these for many years and that its great. (At that restaurant it gets used constantly.) I purchased one recently. I love it. Its very light, easy to use & store and does a great job. Also, sometimes I just don't want to be bothered with the vacune when I have a small job.The staffer did not mention which style he had so I checked out reviews on it and then read reviews and chose this one for my house
That said, I have not yet cleaned the removeable brushes or emptied the trays. Based on my experience so far, I expect that it will be a quick and easy task.

This works REALLY well.
I'm not a huge fan of anything (generally), but this thing really seems to work great. It feels solid and put together really well, and while it definitely works best on my low-pile rug, I tried it on the hardwood floor and it worked pretty well here. I can't believe I spent years lugging my vacuum out for little things - wasting all that electricity and time. This is a REALLY nice product.

Panasonic "Jet Force Bagless" Upright Vacuum Cleaner MC-UL427, Vibrant Violet & Black finish

finally- NO lines in carpet!
I'm a neat freak. I also have three cats, three birds, a husband who works from home, and a six-year-old. So, needless to say, I've gone through a lot of vacuums. I now have a Dyson, but it's a bit of a bear at times, and to be honest, I'm not always sure it does such a great job on my carpets.

I have to admit, when I tried the Panasonic, I couldn't tell the immediate difference. I called in my mom, another neat freak (she's taught me all my tricks) and she wanted to give it a whirl. She loves to vacuum. I know that sounds weird to non-vacuumers, but it's her thing.

She LOVED this vacuum. LOVED it. This woman has test drove or owned every vacuum on the market and she was absolutely thrilled with the Panasonic. Her take:

- It's little easier to handle, but not so lightweight that it's flimsy.

- The attachments are on board and easy to pull out and us.

- The long, retractable cord is GREAT. No more extension cords and having to wrap...

Nice Vacuum For The Price... But A Few Drawbacks
Yay, a purple vacuum! Let's talk about the good & the bad.

Good:
*Strong suction... quite powerful
*Bagless system; dumping the dirt is easy
*Nice tools for different types of cleaning, and convenient storage ON the vacuum unit for these tools
*Internal cord storage
*Quieter than my old vacuum by a few decibels
*Lighter weight than my old vacuum, though still a bit cumbersome
*Doesn't tip over easily

Bad:
*No "headlight" for vacuuming in dark corners
*The cord does not automatically extend when you need it to. Kind of a pain, that.
*Powerful suction is not friendly on certain surfaces. Avoid tasseled rugs!
*Optional tools are tricky to clean, especially when they've sucked up a lot of hair
*The hose is too short and makes vacuuming my stairs a tricky task. (I may buy an extension.)
*When trying to extend the flexible hose, sometimes instead of extending, it just ends up pulling the vacuum unit along...

Durability Lacking
UPDATE:
I'm no longer feeling the love for the Panasonic Jet Force. While it still vacuums well (that can is still getting filled, so that's a good thing), the signs of the overall durability of this vacuum are beginning to show...and it's not a pretty sight. First off, the brush mechanism of the vacuum is beginning to make a "clicking" noise. I thought something got caught in there, so I tried to take off the bottom so I could clean off the brush mechanism. To my surprise, you cannot open or clean the brush mechanism. With the Dyson, the unit is completely detachable for easy cleaning. Because I can live with a little noise, I carried on. Not too long after that, I noticed the vacuum started sounding louder - almost as if it's working a LOT harder to suck. Again, not a huge issue, considering vacuums are loud, I can live with that.

I cannot live with the fact that the brushes still spin while the unit is standing upright though. On my old Dyson, if I was...

Ice Maker Assembly for General Electric, Hotpoint, RCA WR30X10093

Tricky to Install.
The cable adapter for older refrigerators, make this a tricky install because the cable is too long for a clean straight forward install. They should have made the ice-maker with either cable, but they must sell more of the newer type so this simple job turned into a bit of a challenge. This review is to help save others with older units as mine, some time. I ran the cable straight up between the first mounting bracket(left) and the ice-maker body. I then screwed in the screw to the first mounting bracket(left)to hold ice-maker into place. The cable comes over the top and down to the left and under the ice-maker and plugs into the power socket. The original cable came out of the socket and moved right under the ice-maker and back behind the ice maker. This can still be done, but as others have commented, the cables will be in the way of the catch basin and the ice-maker arm. By doing it my way you'll have no issues there. The only other issue is a small one. There is a plate...

Ice maker
The ice maker was a little different than the one i took out but when i hooked it up it made ice. I dont understand why the instuctions say you have to use your old stripper when it will not fit on the new unit though. the one it came with works fine.

Good alternative
Ice maker works fine and half the price of going through the manufacturer. If you're somebody who has never replaced their own ice maker, don't get yourself to worked up over it - it's an extremely simple job that only takes a few minutes. Don't get overzealous and have someone come out and charge you a small fortune to do ten minutes of work for you.

30-inch Wall-mounted Stainless Steel Range Hood with Arched Tempered Glass & Touch Screen Control Panel

Beautiful Range Hood
After looking at range hoods in the $600-$700 range, I found this on Amazon from Kitchen Bath Collection for half the price. Because there were no reviews I was a bit skeptical, but decided for the price, it was worth a try. Delivered in a timely manner, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. Installation was pretty easy, although the directions were a bit vague, but not so bad they couldn't be figured out. It looks beautiful installed, has very nice lighting and the price is unbeatable! Would recommend this to anyone.

Stainless Hood with Arched Glass bought on Amazon
I love it! I was nervous at this price that it would be a thin gauge stainless or just cheap looking - it was not at all. It was easy to install, works great and looks fabulous. Perfect for my range and kitchen.

A touch of class
Very nice addition to our remolded kitchen. We did not have a vented range hood prior to our remodel so we wanted to vent it to the outside. The directions were not very clear on how to mount the hood to the wall. In our case the hood ended up between the studs, we discarded the screws and anchors that came with the hood and used toggle bolts instead. The hood comes with everything you need except the outside vent cap which was easily purchased locally. The only dislike we have is the position of the lights, it would have been better if they were positioned in the front or if there were four instead of just two. Otherwise it is a very nice addition to our kitchen.

Filtron Cold Water Coffee Concentrate Brewer

no more bitter coffee
This simple device works like a charm. There's a felt pad for a filter in the bottom. Dump a pound of ground coffee in and top it off with water(I use spring water).Wait 24 hours and pull the plug, draining the concentrate into the decanter. Mix with hot water to taste(1:2 or 1:3)and you have the sweetest coffee you've ever had (without sugar). It seems the hot brewing puts bitter compounds in the coffee. Keep the concentrate in the fridge. Love it.

Excellent coffee
First, let me say that this product makes excellent coffee. I usually regret drinking regularly-brewed coffee because of the acid, but I've been drinking this cold-brewed coffee for two weeks now and have had NO ill after effects.

The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it's basically just a couple of pieces of plastic, and so I'd consider it fairly overpriced for what you get.

What you get is: a plastic carafe with snap-on lid, a container to put ground coffee in, a filter pad, and another container to put water in. Water empties through a small hole into the container with the ground coffee in it, and you let it sit over night. In the mornning, pop the cork out of the coffee container (on the bottom), and let the syrup drain into the carafe (through an included filter pad). That's it. You could, if you were motivated enough, make one of these out of those x-large soda cups from 7-11.

But, the coffee is excellent. I've been using it to...

Great Cold Press Maker!
I was very satisfied with this product. I was a barista for three years and we used this same brand of brewer for our cold press. It's easy to use and clean. It makes great iced and frozen lattes. The directions that come with the product are very easy to understand. I purchased this for my boyfriend and he loves it.

Miele S8590 Alize Canister Vacuum Cleaner

Amazing - the best gets better
We bought our first Miele vacuum 14 years ago. It has been the best vacuum either my wife or I have ever used. I did replace some parts a few years back, making it good as new. Part of the beauty of buying a quality item from a manufacturer not bent on perpetual profit means you can buy quality parts rather than throwing the machine away and buying new every two years.

As much as we loved our Miele, it did has some imperfections. Not flaws, just things that could be improved. Miele must have read our minds (or paid attention to customer feedback) because they have addressed every one of those imperfections - and more - with this unit.

Swivel wheels greatly improve maneuverability; the larger chassis allows the onboard tools to nest more easily and extends the bag changing interval, yet is noticeably lighter; the new "auto" mode actually works, reducing suction if you accidentally grab onto something you shouldn't; the ergo handle is a stroke of genius; the...

Bare / Wood Floors
Just got the S8590 yesterday after doing a bit of research over a few months before making a decision. Granted this model is a little spendy, I felt the price was worth it for what we were getting. I didn't want something made in China and had seen a number of bad reviews about reliability and build quality with a number of other brands such as Electrolux.

I recently installed wood floors after tearing out all of the carpet in my house. My Bissel which was great on carpet and supposedly good for bare floors, wasn't doing so great with picking stuff up off of the wood floors. I also did not want to empty and clean out the canister anymore. It seemed slick for a while to be able to see what you were sucking up, but opening the canister to empty it just releases a lot of the allergens right back into the environment. Plus emptying it outside when it's freezing out isn't very fun either if I was trying to avoid letting the dust back out into my house.

Anyway,...

Best Vacuum That I Have Ever Used or Owned!
This is hands down the best vacuum that I have ever used or owned in my entire life. I am a stay-at-home husband in a house with an infant, 3 cats, and 1 dog. We have all hardwood floors and tried a few different vacuums before decided that it was time to invest in a quality product. It was worth our money. I vacuum more often in less time now.

Noise: I can vacuum on the highest level in the same room while our 4 month old sleeps. It is that quiet.

Power: Our home was built in 1754 with mostly original floors. We have cracks everywhere and the cats track litter in every last one. It gets everything!

Weight: It's light as can be. I don't know how something so good could possibly get lighter.

Accessories: It has everything that I needed for a full home.

Bag System: With all the litter and animal hair in our house, the bags fill-up faster than I had hoped... since they are costly. But 4 pets and a quality vacuum are...

GE WB03K10265 Knob Assembly for Range

Metal this time
GE made the replacement knobs out of metal, as the original knobs should have been. $36 for a knob that should be supplied free, as the original knobs were inadequate for their purpose. And yes they are smaller, and yes the last GE appliance we buy. Did you ever notice the difference in the brushed finish between the drawer and the rest of the stove? Later on General Electric......

Outstanding
The knob is very well made not a cheap plastic that breaks and melts with heat from range. The only beef is it is slightly smaller but very smooth look.

A Bit Smaller...
This is a well made heavier then the original but
slightly smaller then what I had originally...

Not much choice though...

LEM Stainless Steel Electric Meat Grinder, 5-Pound

Very pleased!
Hello,

We have been looking at grinders with the thought of making homemade sausages for a while. When we got our tax return this year we decided to go for it. I decided to go look at grinders at Bass Pro Shop with the intention of buying a manual hand cranked grinder. Someone else was in the same section looking at some sausage making things and we got to talking. He said that he had this grinder and it has worked very well for them. I had thought perhaps if we got an electric grinder we might go for a bigger one, but he said this should be enough for what we want to do. So I purchased it. We have made bratwurst, italian sausages, and breakfast links so far, but made each of those a few times as they are our favorites. We couldn't be happier with the grinder, it cleans up pretty easy and after I clean and dry it I spray some food grade silicone spray to protect the parts. My wife and I usually do it together, one person feeding the meat into the grinder and the...

Can't go wrong with this one, great grinder!
When I was shopping for a meat grinder, I first checked the reviews. This one didn't have many, but they were good, and since it is made of stainless steel, I decided to purchase it.

Since I have only used it once so far, I can't comment on longevity but it did a great job. I primarily purchased it to grind beef for hamburger, as I feel you never know what's in commercially packaged ground beef and I like my burgers rare. I ground about 12 pounds of meat twice and it never hesitated. The instructions tell you not to touch the grinder until it has cooled down but it got BARELY lukewarm when I used it. It might get hotter if you are processing an entire deer or something similar, but I don't think it would be a problem.

I was planning on keeping it in a closet, but I found a permanent place on my counter for it. However, if you need to move it, it is not THAT heavy (about 32 pounds) and most people could pick it up. This is a fairly large appliance, so you...

Awesome beginner's grinder
My daughter won this grinder in a charity raffle, so I didn't pay the full price for it. After using it however, I would say it is definitely worth the asking price. It is extremely well constructed and engineered. It grinds meat like crazy. I have used it to grind many geese that I turned into jerky. I've ground the trimmings of 2 whitetail deer. This grinder will usually take the meat as fast as you can feed it. I learned after the first time that I used it that it is best to cut the meat into strips 1" to 1-1/2" wide before you even start grinding so the machine won't have to wait for you. It seems like the auger is always hungry. When I did my most recent venison trimmings, after prepping the cuts, it only took a few minutes to grind close to 20lbs. I also used the large stuffing tube while I was grinding and packaged the ground venison as I was grinding it, which basically cut the processing time in half. One accessory that I recently purchased but haven't tried yet is...
