Seemed to work fine.
I have used the product once and the dirty water that the steam vac extracted, was dirtier than I thought my carpet was. No offensive smell and our cat hasn't had any reactions and change in behavior.
Just okay
Will try to find an alternate next time - I get anti-allergen partly for the fragrance free aspect. It still has a very faint smell from whatever ingredients are in it, but it's still pretty fragrance free - nothing flowery or anything like that.
For cleaning, it's just okay. I don't have pets or wear shoes in the house, so my carpets are never really that dirty, but it could do a better job of cleaning the high traffic areas. Otherwise it's fine.
Industrial power for the small consumer
The strength of the cleaning action is great and when combined with my hoover carpet cleaner, the cost effectiveness compared to repeated rentals is astounding after just 1 year of use. The whole house is carpeted and I let relatives borrow the cleaner so the value is definitely there. There is a scent from the cleaner, but I might be mistaking it for the scent of cleanness.
