220V Plug
I bought the Frigidaire 12,000 BTU AC for my bedroom casement window. It is supposed to cool 640 square Ft but does a pretty good of cooling the entire house (2412 square ft), that is until the temperature got above 100 degrees. I was so impressed with the 12,000 BTU unit, that I ordered the 22,000 BTU Frigidaire for the only double hung window in my house, got it installed, and tried to plug it into the wall receptacle...surprise, surprise, it is a 220V plug. I got an electrician to put in a 220V receptacle for me and the AC works wonderfully so far. Amazon.com did not mention anything about power requirements, and I never thought to ask.

OUR 18,000 BTU AIR CONDITIONER DIED SUDDENLY ! WE REPLACED IT WITH THE FRIGIDAIRE 22,000 BTU UNIT . WE ARE IN HEAVEN THIS UNIT COOLS OUR FIRST FLOOR ,FOUR ROOMS WITH NO PROBLEM .I CAN COOK NOW! IT WAS JUST TOO HOT IN THE KITCHEN TO COOK IN THE SUMMER .MY ROOMS ARE LARGE THE KITCHEN IS IN THE REAR,NOW EVERY ROOM IS COOL !

I bought the 22,000 btu frigidare air conditioner 2 years ago.It has worked Great. I have a 1200 sf. house.I run it from 9:oo am-9:00 pm.I have to set it about 4 degrees cooler than actual room temp.I want. No big deal.Remote is convient. Remember the right 230 volt plug in.They have several,but only the right 1 will work. Highly recommend.
